We believe in celebrating the natural beauty of our surroundings. And so we design our events with sustainable materials that support local, independent suppliers wherever possible. We believe that events can be done better, and as a result, we hold ourselves (and those we work with) to a higher standard.
Our commitment to you is to provide support throughout the entire planning process, from our first call all the way to the last piece of decor leaving the building!
Meet Natasha Thom
Owner and Lead Planner (WPICC)
Hi, I'm Natasha! I've spent more than 15 years working in community and non-profit events, and I bring that same heart-forward, detail-driven approach to every project I take on. My journey into event planning started in the world of fundraising and naturally evolved into producing meaningful, earth-friendly gatherings - from intimate weddings to larger-scale galas and conferences.
In 2016, I launched Clearwater Events to bring my love for storytelling, logistics, and sustainability into one place. I believe that events - no matter the size or purpose - are opportunities to create connection and joy while being mindful of our impact on the planet.
During the pandemic, I pivoted quickly into virtual and hybrid event production, including coordinating a global three-day sales kickoff for 1000+ employees, and a national day of ceremony for hundreds of thousands of Canadians. Whether online or in-person, I'm always thinking about how to make the experience seamless, beautiful and aligned with your values.
I also founded The Good Green - a collective of event professionals and vendors committed to creating more sustainable, intentional gatherings. While I've since passed the torch to other incredible leaders, I'm proud to have sparked a movement that continues to grow.
I'm known for asking thoughtful questions, creating calm in chaos, and making sustainability feel accessible and authentic.
